Sacred Heart parish provides opportunities for parishioners of all ages to grow in their knowledge of our Catholic faith, to deepen their relationships with Jesus Christ, and to live as disciples in their everyday lives.
Parishioners pay one faith formation fee annually and it includes small group opportunities for all ages as well as the intergenerational faith festivals (see schedule at the bottom of this page).
The faith formation staff includes the Senior High Youth Minister; Joe Fey, Pastoral Minister of Lifelong Faith Formation and the K-6 Faith Formation Coordinator. Deacon Dan Goetz coordinates the Catholics Returning Home program and assists with some of the adult formation programs.
The small groups meet as follows:
K-6 grade Children: Wednesday 4:15 – 5:30 p.m. (Go to the “Downloads” section at the bottom of this page to open the K6 Faith Formation 2013-2014 Schedule)

Intergenerational Faith Festivals
Throughout the year Faith Festivals are held to nurture the faith of families and individuals and equip them to live their Catholic faith in the world. All ages and generations learn together. The Festivals are aimed at preparing all ages and all generations for meaningful participation in church events, engaging everyone in the events, and guiding people in reflecting on the significance and meaning of the events and applying the learning to their lives as Catholics. When we practice our faith and take part in church events, we learn about Jesus and being His Disciple.
Each Festival includes a meal, a common learning experience for all ages, age appropriate breakout sessions or learning centers and closing presentation. Participants receive “take home kits” at each festival that include resources to help families and individuals celebrate traditions and rituals, continue their learning, pray together, serve others and work for justice, and enrich their relationships and family life. These festivals are an integral part of our parish faith formation program. SEE THE 2013-2014 FAITH FESTIVAL SCHEDULE AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE.
