El Salvador Mission Trip

The El Salvador Mission group supports ongoing projects and helps create new ones in Berlin, El Salvador. Our efforts in Berlin are continually evolving to keep pace with their ever-changing needs. There are several projects we recently have been privileged to be part of and will be continuing in the future.

 ·      Contribute monthly financial support to a convent of nuns providing care for the homeless elderly

·      Purchase 20 sewing machines for use in a co-op setting

·      Provide opportunities for women’s sewing classes

·      Assist families/villages who suffered roof damage to their homes from a recent hurricane

·      Provide needed food items for those affected by the hurricane or are subject to other distresses

·      Help to reestablish a flooded-out well, which is suppling water to a poor community

·      Support one village to build a Catholic Chapel 

·      Continually provide finances for acute medical needs as well as ongoing medical treatments

·      Provide money to purchase medicines, medical supplies, and tests for the local medical clinic in               Berlin.

·      Provide an opportunity for our parishioners to purchase Berlin, El Salvador, coffee, “Don Justo”                      coffee, which supports small local coffee farmers in the area .
