Faith Formation small group sessions for youth in grades 7 & 8 are held on Wednesday evenings from 7:15 – 8:15 p.m. The youth and catechists use the Decision Point Program created by Matthew Kelly and the team at the Dynamic Catholic Institute.  This program is geared towards helping young Catholics to become engaged in the teachings of the Catholic Faith.  Youth and catechists are able to watch meaningful videos pertaining to an array of topics to the Faith which then opens the door for many beautiful discussions.  This program is not only engaging but thought-provoking and challenging, as well.

The youth also participate in several fun activities including the Scavenger Hunt for Thanksgiving Food Baskets, the Diocese of Davenport Middle School Youth Rally, and the Grinnell Deanery Bowling Party. Registration for sessions takes place September. Sessions begin in late September and continue until the end of April. Adult leaders serve as table leaders at the weekly sessions.
