Wake Services

When a loved one dies, members of Sacred Heart Catholic Community offer support in many ways. Refreshments are served after the Vigil Service in the church; family and friends are invited to come to McCann Center for cookies, punch, coffee or tea. It gives the family a special time to visit with friends in a loving atmosphere.

Funeral Dinners

Sacred Heart Catholic Community offers support in preparing and serving the funeral dinner. Once the funeral service is finished, family and friends are invited to return to McCann Center for a dinner. You may choose to participate in this ministry in several ways such as phone calling for desserts and salads, grocery shopping, preparation of food the day of the service, table setting, serving and of course, clean up. Family donations will be accepted to pay for the food purchased.
