Church Contributions & Gifts

Members of Sacred Heart Catholic Parish are encouraged to practice biblical 10% tithing in their financial support of the church. Your gift to the church is in appreciation for the gifts God has given to you. Your contributions should be intentional and proportional to the blessings you have received. Members are encouraged to use our AutoShare, an automatic debit program. Monthly or weekly envelopes are available at the parish office for those who wish to use them.

Auto Share Giving

For many years members of Sacred Heart Parish have been using AutoShare Giving to make their contributions to the parish, the Annual Diocesan Appeal, and for special collections. The response has been terrific! Some of the comments that we hear are, “Once you’ve tried it, you will never go back to using envelopes” and “It’s so convenient, no last minute checks to write.”

AutoShare Giving is also beneficial to Sacred Heart Parish. It eliminates the expense of providing envelopes, takes less time to record contributions, and assures our parish of an intentional, proportionate, and consistent contribution. If you choose to use AutoShare Giving, you have complete control over your contributions.

On the signup form you determine the amount of your contribution, the frequency (weekly or monthly), and which day of the week or month to make the transaction. You may also select which of the special collections you want to support and the amount of your gift. For those who make pledges to the Annual Diocesan Appeal, AutoShare Giving saves you the time of writing the check and the cost of mailing. If for some reason you’re running short of cash some week, you may call the office to cancel your contribution for that week or until you notify the office to start it up again.

Weekly Envelopes

Weekly tithing envelopes are available through the parish office. The weekly envelopes are mailed out in packets every two months directly to your home.

Monthly Envelopes

Monthly envelopes are available through the parish office. The monthly envelopes are in one packet for the entire year. Parishioners will be notified in December when they are available to be picked up for the upcoming year.
